Terms of sale

Last updated : 6 October 2026

These terms of sale (the “Terms”) are entered into between MCP, operating the Séjoria service and brand, a French single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company (SASU) with a share capital of 1 000 €, registered under SIREN number 939 160 206 (SIRET 939 160 206 00016), intra-EU VAT number FR06939160206, whose registered office is at 49 rue Frédéric Chopin, 97419 La Possession, La Réunion, France (“Séjoria”, “we”), and any person who subscribes to the Séjoria service (the “Customer”, “you”).

Together with the terms of service and the data processing agreement, they form the entire contract. The French version prevails; this translation is provided for information.

1. Purpose and contract documents

These Terms set out the conditions under which Séjoria provides, as software-as-a-service, a short-term rental management platform including an AI-based concierge, calendar synchronisation, guest messaging, cleaning task management, invoicing and a digital welcome book (the “Service”).

The contract consists, in descending order of priority, of: (i) the accepted quote or activation confirmation, (ii) these Terms, (iii) the terms of service, (iv) the data processing agreement.

2. Definitions

  • “Property”: a unit used for short-term rental and declared in the Service.
  • “Active Property”: a Property connected to the Service and counted for billing.
  • “Subscription”: the right to access the Service for a given number of Active Properties and period.
  • “Consumer”: a natural person acting outside any commercial, industrial, craft, professional or agricultural activity.
  • “Business”: anyone acting within such an activity, including where short-term renting is their regular activity.
  • “AI Concierge”: the Service’s conversational agent, which acts within the permissions set by the Customer.

3. Eligibility and Customer status

The Service is intended for adults with legal capacity and duly represented legal entities. The Customer declares at the time of the request whether they act as a Consumer or a Business, which determines the applicable provisions, in particular Articles 17 and 18.

The Customer warrants that the information supplied is accurate and keeps it up to date. An inaccurate declaration, in particular about status, allows suspension after formal notice.

4. Formation of the contract

Subscription is not self-service. The Customer submits a request through the website form; Séjoria reviews it, speaks with the Customer and, if it accepts, activates the account and sends written confirmation.

The contract is formed on the date of that activation confirmation, not on the date of the request. We may refuse a request without liability, in particular where there is a manifest risk of abuse or fraud. Electronic exchanges and the Service’s logs are evidence between the parties, unless proven otherwise.

5. Free trial and onboarding

On request and after activation by our team, Séjoria offers a free trial of 31 days, limited to 2 Active Properties, with no payment details required.

  • The trial is limited to one Customer (individual, legal entity or group of related companies) and is neither renewable nor cumulative; circumventing this limit, in particular through multiple accounts, is grounds for immediate suspension.
  • The Service is provided as is during the trial; some features may be restricted.
  • No invoicing occurs without a positive act by the Customer: at the end of the trial, access is suspended until a paid Subscription is taken out.
  • Without a subscription, data entered during the trial is kept for thirty (30) days and then permanently deleted. The Customer may request an export during that period.

We provide reasonable onboarding support (initial setup, connection of platforms). It is a best-efforts service and does not include bespoke development or any legal, tax or accounting audit of the Customer’s activity.

6. Plans and prices

For Customers operating one to four Properties, monthly prices excluding VAT in force on the date of these Terms are:

Active PropertiesMonthly price
1 property€29 excl. VAT / month
2 properties€41 excl. VAT / month
3 properties€53 excl. VAT / month
4 properties€61 excl. VAT / month

Above four Properties, and for professional concierge companies and managers, pricing is quoted according to volume. Published prices exclude taxes. Annual payment made in one instalment gives a 20% reduction on the price for the period.

Third-party subscriptions that the Customer chooses to connect to the Service (for example a complementary dynamic-pricing tool) are at the Customer’s sole expense and billed by those third parties.

7. Counting Properties

The Subscription price depends on the number of Active Properties. A Property added mid-period is billed from its activation, pro rata. A Property removed stops being billed at the next renewal; no refund is due for the current period.

We may check the number of Active Properties. A gap between the declared and actual number leads to billing adjustment from the date the additional Properties were connected.

8. Taxes and invoicing

Prices exclude taxes. Value-added tax is applied at the rate in force according to the Customer’s domicile:

  • Customer domiciled in mainland France: VAT at 20%.
  • Customer domiciled in La Réunion: VAT at 8.5%.
  • Business Customer liable to VAT established in another EU Member State: invoiced without VAT, the tax being self-assessed by the Customer, subject to a valid intra-EU VAT number.
  • Customer established outside the European Union: invoiced without French VAT, any local taxes remaining at their expense.

The Customer provides an accurate billing address and, where applicable, VAT number. Invoices are issued electronically and made available in the Service. Any change of domicile must be reported without delay.

9. Payment

The Subscription is payable in advance, monthly or annually depending on the plan chosen, through the means offered by the Service’s payment provider. The Customer authorises recurring debit of the registered payment method for any amount due. Payment data is handled by the payment provider and is not stored by Séjoria.

10. Late payment

Any unpaid amount may be chased by any means. After formal notice unanswered for eight (8) days, we may suspend access, without prejudice to our right to terminate.

For Business Customers, any amount unpaid at the due date automatically bears interest, without prior notice, at the European Central Bank refinancing rate plus ten (10) percentage points, and gives rise to a fixed recovery fee of forty (40) euros, without prejudice to further compensation on proof (Articles L.441-10 and D.441-5 of the French Commercial Code).

For Consumers, amounts remaining due bear interest at the statutory rate from formal notice.

11. Price changes

We may change our prices. Any increase is notified in writing at least thirty (30) days before it takes effect. A Customer who refuses may terminate free of charge before that date; otherwise the new pricing applies from the next renewal. An annual Subscription in progress is not revised before its end.

12. Founding Member programme

We may offer, by invitation, a programme for our first customers, with a fifteen percent (15%) discount on the Subscription price. It can be combined with the annual reduction in Article 6.

Conditions to keep the discount

The discount is attached to the member’s account, in their name, and applies without an end date as long as: the Subscription is maintained without interruption, sums due are paid, and the contract has not been terminated for the Customer’s breach.

Loss of the discount

The discount ends automatically: (i) if the Customer terminates and later re-subscribes, the discount not being reinstated; (ii) on termination for the Customer’s breach; (iii) on transfer or making available of the Subscription to a third party.

Our commitment

We undertake to maintain the discount if our price grid or billing model changes, so that the member’s economic advantage is not substantially reduced. The discount applies to the member’s Active Properties, including those added later. The programme imposes no minimum term on the Customer, who may terminate at any time under Article 14.

13. Term and renewal

The Subscription is concluded for one (1) month or one (1) year depending on the plan. It renews automatically for successive periods of the same length unless terminated under Article 14. The Customer may change plan (monthly to annual, or number of Properties); the change takes effect at the current renewal unless otherwise agreed in writing.

14. Termination by the Customer

The Customer may terminate at any time, without reason or charge, from their account in the Service or by email to contact@sejoria.com. Termination takes effect at the end of the current period, access remaining open until then.

For a monthly Subscription, the request must be received at least twenty-four (24) hours before renewal to take effect at that renewal, failing which the next period is due. For an annual Subscription, termination takes effect at the annual renewal; sums already paid are not refunded pro rata, except under mandatory consumer law.

15. Suspension and termination for breach

We may suspend access immediately, without notice or compensation, in the event of a threat to the security or integrity of the Service, breach of the terms of service, fraudulent or unlawful use, or risk to third-party rights.

We may terminate the contract, after formal notice unanswered for fifteen (15) days, for serious or repeated breach, in particular non-payment, and without delay where the breach cannot be remedied or the Customer supplied fraudulent information. Termination for the Customer’s breach gives no right to a refund and makes sums due immediately payable, without prejudice to damages.

16. Reversibility and data

The Customer may export their data at any time from the Service in a structured, commonly used format. At the end of the contract, for any reason, they have thirty (30) days to retrieve their data. After that, data is deleted, except what Séjoria must keep under a legal obligation (notably accounting and tax) or to establish its rights. Backups are deleted according to the cycle set out in the data processing agreement.

17. Consumer right of withdrawal

To exercise it, the Consumer sends an unambiguous statement to contact@sejoria.com, or uses the model withdrawal form available on request.

Where the Consumer expressly asks for the Service to begin before the withdrawal period ends, they must pay an amount proportionate to what was provided until they communicate their withdrawal (Article L.221-25). They acknowledge that if the Service is fully performed within the period at their express request and with prior agreement, they lose the right of withdrawal (Article L.221-28, 1°). The free trial involves no payment: the period, where it applies, runs from the paid Subscription.

18. Provisions specific to Consumers

Automatic renewal

Where the contract renews automatically, the Consumer is informed in writing, no earlier than three (3) months and no later than one (1) month before the end of the period allowing refusal of renewal, that they may decline it. If this information is not sent in time, they may terminate at any time after renewal and obtain a refund of sums paid for the period after termination (Articles L.215-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). The Consumer may terminate by the electronic means used to subscribe.

Statutory guarantees

The Consumer benefits from the statutory conformity guarantee for digital content and services (Articles L.224-25-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code).

Consumer mediation

Under Article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, the Consumer has the right to use a consumer mediator free of charge to settle a dispute with Séjoria amicably.

That route requires the Consumer to have first sent Séjoria a written complaint, by email to contact@sejoria.com or by post to the registered office shown at the top of these Terms, and that no amicable solution has been found within two (2) months.

The full details of the consumer mediator to which Séjoria subscribes (name, postal address and website for filing a case online) are provided to the Consumer in the reply to that written request or complaint, and on simple request to contact@sejoria.com.

The Consumer may also use the European online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

19. Liability

We owe an obligation of best efforts. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, the absence of errors, or commercial results (occupancy, revenue, platform ranking, status).

We are not liable for third-party services connected to the Service (booking platforms, channel manager, payment providers, messaging apps) or for interruptions or changes decided by them.

Content generated by the AI Concierge is produced from information and permissions provided by the Customer, who remains responsible for supervising it and for how it is used, as set out in the terms of service.

These limits do not apply to gross negligence or wilful misconduct, to personal injury, or where the law prohibits excluding or limiting liability. They do not deprive Consumers of their mandatory statutory rights.

20. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failure caused by force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code, including a widespread network or infrastructure-provider outage, a large-scale cyberattack, an act of authority or a natural disaster. If it lasts more than thirty (30) consecutive days, either party may terminate in writing without compensation, the unused period being refunded.

21. Personal data

We process personal data in two capacities: as controller for our customers’ and prospects’ data, and as processor for the guest data the Customer entrusts to us. The applicable rules are in the privacy policy and the data processing agreement, which form part of the contract.

22. Intellectual property and references

The contract grants the Customer no ownership of the Service, software, the Séjoria brand or documentation, subject to the licence in the terms of service. The Customer keeps ownership of their content and data.

Unless the Customer objects in writing, we may name them as a customer in our references; no logo is used without express consent.

23. General provisions

  • Assignment: the Customer may not assign the contract without our prior written consent. Séjoria may assign it to any entity, the Customer being informed.
  • Entire agreement: the contract supersedes any prior commitment on the same subject.
  • Severability: invalidity of one clause does not affect the others.
  • No waiver: failing to rely on a breach is not a waiver of the right to rely on it later.
  • Hardship: between Businesses, the parties waive Article 1195 of the French Civil Code.
  • Changes: we may amend these Terms for the future on thirty (30) days’ notice; continued use afterwards is acceptance, and the Customer may terminate free of charge before the effective date.
  • Language: the contract is written in French, which prevails.

24. Governing law and disputes

The contract is governed by French law. The parties seek to settle any dispute amicably by written notice describing its subject; if the other party does not respond within thirty (30) days, litigation is open.

Failing agreement, any dispute with a Business Customer falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court for the registered office of Séjoria, including for multiple defendants, third-party claims or interim proceedings.

The Consumer may bring proceedings, at their choice, before the court of the place where they lived when the contract was concluded or the harm occurred, or that of the defendant.
